ReplyMy wife and I have been going to the Looking Glass for many years.2 weeks ago we went after church and found that the new owner Chris is doing a great job.We had the "everything" omolet and it was true to it's name. The english muffins are over sized and when griiled they are terriffic.The corned beef has is also great and we had a very enjoyable meal. If you want to support local business owners this is one place to start.

ReplySadly all the grandstanding is off the mark as usual. The 2nd Amendment is part of our way of life and guns are not the problem. It is the people who use guns in wrong ways and banning guns only means the bad guys will have the guns and the lawful citizen will be an easier target for them. Most criminals are cowards and they prey on the weak, the sick, the elderly and the unprotected. I do not own a gun but I am giving serious thought to getting one BECAUSE of what the politicians are trying to do. They chip, chip away at our legal rights and next thing you know the rights are gone. Not one of the proposals from the president would have stopped the sad evnts in Newtown nor would they have stopped any of the other senseless mass killings. They are merely ways to remove our rights as citizens.

ReplyThe State is just making another money grab that they will waste on something stupid or feed the corruption. Why not force National Grid to use the money to improve the infrustucture so that it is less likely to happen again, OR reimburse customers for the suffering they went through? Sending money to the State is just a dumb idea. No wonder Martha got crused in the election for Senator.

ReplyNO I do Not. The criminals will always get the guns they want because they don't mind breaking the law. The 2nd Amendment was a crucial part of our Consttution and we have the right to protect ourselves. The government has already watered down our rights and look for every chance to reduce them more. Look what they have done at the airports. Have they caught any terrorists with their tatics and police state mentality. I think not and I don't feel any safer when I fly but I do feel like I've been invaded by TSA and their methods.

ReplyWe don't need more "Nanny State" laws. How are they going to prove someone used fowl talk, which words are not allowed? Will they sprend (waste) money to educate the population on which words are not allowed?
Can we afford to have the police waste their time giving out citations for this behavior?
What will be next?

ReplyWe could use them to parol the borders and stop the flow of "illegal" immigrants. They should not be spying on US citizens. How is that constitutional and a huge waste of money. Also, who decides the targets? Are they based on politics. That would be my guess.

ReplyI would like to know if she used her supposed heritage to gain entry into schools as well as getting ahead with a claim on being an Indian minority. There is a little know law that if you have Indian heritage you can go to school for free. I was aware of this law because our family always said we were related to an Indian tribe on my Mother's side. We never really explored the documents that would have been required.
As for the current situation the fact that she lied and used it to her advantage means she can not be trusted as a member on the Senate.

This is the kind of absurd thinking that can only come from government. Traffic patrols should be used to have safe roads not as a revenue source. When you go down that road all sanity goes out the window.
