Wrentham Volunteers of the Year Announced
The Wrentham Volunteers of the Year were announced as Article 2 of last night's town meeting.
The winners of the Wrentham Volunteer of the Year awards were announced last night, with four residents being reconized for their roll in the community. In the 18 and over category, Judy Ellis was given the award for her time spent as a volunteer in the kitchen of the Wrentham Senior Center. Ellis has spend the last 12 years working in the kitchen five days a week, for three hours a day. When Selectmen Charles Kennedy asked others in the kitchen how many years Ellis had been volunteering, no one could come up with an answer as Ellis was the longer working member there.
