Five Things You Need to Know: April 29

Saturday will be Wrentham's Annual Household Hazardous Waste Day.

1. The office of the Wrentham Town Clerk will be closed for the entire day on Tuesday, April 30. The clerk and staff will be at the Annual Town Election/Special State Primary Election to be held at the Delaney Elementary School on Taunton Street. Election hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. 2. The Wrentham Cultural Council's exhibitor applications are being accepted until May 1. Booths are filling up quickly, apply atwww.artsonthecommon.org. Here is another sample of two exhibitors for Arts on the Common, Sherri Snyder's beautiful watercolors and the pottery of Sara Petipas. 5 Things You Need to Know April 25: Blood Drive at Patriot Place

The Wrentham Lions Club's Fishing Derby will be held Saturday.

Wrentham Selectmen Jan. 22: Town Administrator Asks if DPW Can Call For an Emergency

Town Administrator asks selectmen if DPW can call for an emergency without the board's vote.

The Wrentham Board of Selectmen met on Tuesday and discussed the town’s water rate charge. The board voted 5-0 for the charge to remain the same for its fourth straight year, according to the Wrentham department of public works assistant superintendent Jack Manchester. The board voted 5-0 to appoint Ellen Wojcik as temporary town registrar in the town clerk’s office and accepted Muriel Beresford’s resignation after 20 years of service to the town of Wrentham.
