Wrentham Police Log April 20-30: OUI with Child Endangerment

The following is from the Wrentham Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned they do not indicate convictions.

April 20 Wrentham Police arrested a 48 year old Taunton man.  Joseph Connors, 4 Winthrop Place, was charged with O.U.I. alcohol, marked lane violation and operating to endanger. The arrest was the result of a cell phone caller of a vehicle operating erratically and the arrest was made on East Street. April 21  5:41 pm, Wrentham police and fire departments responded to Dedham St. for a report of a single vehicle crash. As a result of the investigation, Wrentham Police arrested a 34 year old Walpole man. James Gately of 676 Rustic Rd was charged with, O.U.I. alcohol with serious injury, reckless child endangerment, two counts of A&B dangerous weapon, operating on a suspended license, and several other charges as well as having warrants from …

Wrentham Police Log April 1-17: Brockton Resident Arrested for B&E

April 5 12:24 p.m.-Wrentham Police arrested a 22-year-old Roxbury woman.  Jasmin Sabrina Taylor of 681 Parker St. was charged with malicious destruction of property over $250. She arrest was the result of a call to police of a shoplifter at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets. April 9 1:45 a.m-Wrentham Police were investigating suspicious activity on South St.  As a result of this investigation a vehicle pursuit took place which ended a short time later in Norton. Wrentham Police arrested a 29 year old Brockton man as a result. Kristopher Mather, of 130 Tribou St. was charged with B&E into a motor vehicle, larceny, failure to stop and numerous motor vehicle charges. Will More Wrentham Police Officers Bring More Revenue to Town?

Wrentham selectmen vote to look into the cost and benefits of adding an additional patrolman to the Wrentham Police Department.

Wrentham could start replacing police officer positions sooner than expected. The Wrentham Board of Selectmen voted 5-0 on Tuesday to request a cost/benefit analysis to adding a new patrolman. Selectman Michael Carroll said he has been talking with Wrentham police chief James Anderson and they agree they could recoup a good amount of lost revenue by adding another patrol officer to Wrentham’s ranks. “The chief said when he had more staff he was able to do more traffic patrols to generate about $125,000 that we’re not getting today,” he said. “We could bump up departmental revenue to at least equal to the cost of salary, health insurance and uniforms.” Carroll added he and the chief don't have the exact numbers, but they feel this is …

March 15 11:00 pm, Wrentham police arrested a 37 year old Canton man.  Martin Morales of 186 Bolivar St. was arrested on a probation violation warrant.  The arrest took place at the Red Rooster on Washington St. On Sunday, March 24, 2013, at approximately 7:40 am, Wrentham police arrested a 37 year old Rhode Island man.  Arthur Henebury, of 14 Sandlewood Ave was charged with O.U.I. alcohol, and unlicensed possession of a firearm.  The arrest was the result of an officer checking a disable motor vehicle on West St. by Manchester Drive. March 2 8:35 p.m. Wrentham police arrested a 34-year-old Marion man.  Christian Kenswil of 7 Hastings Rd was charged with domestic A&B, and threats to commit a crime.  The arrest was the result of a call to police for a disturbance at 142 A Lakeside Ave. March 3 12:10 pm, Wrentham police arrested a 56-year-old Wrentham man.  Randall Jones, of 139 Wampum St. was charged with violation of a protective order. Feb. 6 5:30 p.m. Wrentham police arrested a 32-year-old Attleboro man.  Joseph Owens, of 42 Chapel Hill was charged with shoplifting and providing a false name to law enforcement.  The arrest was the result of a call to police of a shoplifting call at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets. Feb. 1 10:00 a.m. Wrentham Police arrested a 26-year-old Wrentham woman.  Meaghan Galvin, of 85 Sumner Perry Drive was charged with possession of a class A substance Heroin.  The arrest was the result of a call to police from Wrentham District Court someone trying to bring illegal drugs into court through security.  Feb. 2 5:30 p.m. Wrentham Police arrested a 61-year-old Roxbury man.  Gregory Brown, of 18 Wheatley Street 3C was charged with shoplifting, trespass, and two counts of larceny over $250.  The arrest was the result of a call to police of a shoplifting at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets. Wrentham Police. Teachers Lend a Hand at Pine Street Inn

The Wrentham police department has been volunteering at the Pine Street Inn for the 14 years.

Police officers and teachers from Wrentham, including police chief James Anderson, volunteered at the Pine Street Inn to serve dinner to those staying at the Men's Emergency Center.  This group has been volunteering at Pine Street for the last 14 years.  "We think it's important to give back to the less fortunate," said Anderson. Volunteer groups are instrumental in helping Pine Street's meal service run smoothly. Between 250 and 300 meals are served to guests at the Men's Inn each night.  Serving more than 11,000 men and women each year, Pine Street provides permanent housing, job training, emergency shelter and street outreach. The Wrentham Police Department is among the more than 4,000 volunteers who assist with Pine Street, working …

The Wrentham Police are looking for the owner of rings that were found at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets.

  Rings were recovered at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets recently.  There is a very particular inscription on the ring.  If you are the owner, or know the owner and the inscription, contact the Wrentham Police Department at 508-384-2121 and speak with detectives.
