Deadline to fill papers to run in the Wrentham April 1 election is Feb. 11. According to report in the Sun Chronicle, Wrentham is looking to move the election to April 30, the same date at primary for the United States Senate seat, vacanted by John Kerry's appointment as Secretary of State. Candidates must have to collect a minimum of 48 signatures to appear on the ballot. Already running are: Town moderator, one year, held by Keith Billian. Town clerk, three years, held by Carol Mollica. Board of Selectmen, three years, two seats held by Joseph Botaish and Gail Pratt. The following is a summary of the Wrentham Board of Health meeting on Monday, Jan. 14.
The Wrentham Board of Health met on Monday and reviewed data concerning outside wood-fired boilers. The board appointed several health agents for 2013, including the Betterment Loan Program Agent, the Burial Agent, Collector and Inspector of Milk, Consulting Engineer Agent, Health Agent/Sanitarian and the Inspector of Animals Agent. The board also approved and sent their fiscal year 2014 budget to the board of selectmen for review. Vice chair William Skinner requested a review of contracts with the town’s various health agents for negotiation.

The Norfolk Board of Health and the Walpole Area Visiting Nurse Association will be holding a flu clinic Jan. 17.
1. The warm temperatures will be with us again today as a high of 55 is expected under cloudy skies. The low will be 32. 2. The Norfolk Board of Health and the Walpole Area Visiting Nurse Association will be holding a flu clinic Thursday, Jan. 17, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Norfolk Town, 1 Libery Lane.
