Wrentham Town Meeting looked at Articles 13-28 at night two of the annual town meeting.
After adjourning the previous night, the Wrentham annual town meeting wrapped up Tuesday evening at KP High School. Only needing about an hour to go through the final warrants, there was little debate and substantially less people in attendance for night two of the meeting. Both Article 13 and 14 were postponed indefinitely. Article 13 would transferred a sum of money from the Water Enterprise Retained Earnings Reserve for Capital to the Water Enterprise Operating Budget Capital while Article 14 would of transferred available funds to the stabilization fund. Article 15 was passed by a voice vote to raise and appropriate funds for requested items. The list included $250,000 for an ambulance, $11,628 for new election equipment, and $20,000 …

A Wrentham highway commercial dstrict on Route 1 was approved 213-23. Town meeting will resume tonight at 7:30 p.m.
After night one of the Wrentham Annual Town Meeting, 12 articles were passed and Route 1 was officially rezoned for commercial use. The meeting, which started at 7:30 p.m., adjourned around 11:07 p.m. after the passing of Article 12-B. The meeting will resume tonight at 7:30 p.m. inside the auditorium at King Philip High School. Town moderator Keith Billian started the evening recognizing some of the recently retired town employees including retiring call firefighters Fred True and Ed Perry. On hand to recognize the two men was state senator Richard Ross who read a resolution for both men and congratulated them on their retirement. Emotions ran high at the first night of the Wrentham annual town meeting where residents dealt with issues ranging from the creation of a highway commercial district to dealing with the town budget. With some hoping to restore services and some funding, article 12-B, which have provided more funding to the Wrentham Recreation Department and the Wrentham Board of Health proved to be a statement as far as what the town could and could not do. Nearing the three hour mark of the meeting, emotions began to show with the voting of article 12-B.
