Senator Scott Brown spoke to various local business leaders at a United Regional Chamber of Commerce event Tuesday afternoon. Brown, a Wrentham resident, spoke about the importance of small business during the meeting, which took place at the Franklin Country Club. "I'm proud to be pro-business and pro-jobs legislation," he said. "The government can't create jobs, but it can create an environment where you can create jobs." He said the government must look at ways to encourage growth. "We can't get out of this mess overnight, but we do have the highest corporate tax rate in the industrialized world," he said.
