PHOTOS: Patriots Comeback Falls Short in Wild Loss to 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers blew a 28-point lead but held on to beat the New England Patriots, 41-34 at Gillette Stadium Sunday night.

As much as the first half was one to forget for the New England Patriots Sunday Night, the second half was nearly one to remember in a wild and sloppy, 41-34 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. "Obviously we just didn’t do anything well enough to win," said Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. The New England Patriots, along with the rest of the country, will have the 26 victims of Friday's shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School on their minds and in their hearts during Sunday's game at Gillette Stadium. In recognition of Friday's tragedy, the Patriots plan to honor the 20 children and six adults killed in the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School by wearing …
