The Plainville Athletic League's board meeting will be Sunday, April 7, at 5:30 p.m., followed by a general meeting at 7 p.m. at the clubhouse. 4. The King Philip Youth Lacrosse's Learn to Play program will start outdoors on April 14, weather permitting from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Players will learn the game from coaches and members of the King Philip High boys' and girls' lacrosse teams. 5. They are looking for vendors with animal related products, rescue groups, shelters, therapy dogs, dog walking and pet sitting services, all groups dedicated to the car and welfare of animals are invited to participate. …

The Friends of the Norfolk Public Library are calling for bakers willing to donate baked goods to the annual Friends of the Norfolk Library Book and Bake Sale. This year’s sale will be held on Friday, April 26 from 6-9 p.m. (members only) and Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Norfolk DPW Garage, 33 Medway Branch Road.
