The San Francisco 49ers blew a 28-point lead but held on to beat the New England Patriots, 41-34 at Gillette Stadium Sunday night.

As much as the first half was one to forget for the New England Patriots Sunday Night, the second half was nearly one to remember in a wild and sloppy, 41-34 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. "Obviously we just didn’t do anything well enough to win," said Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. "It starts with me – didn’t do a good job of coaching, didn’t coach well, we didn’t play well, we weren’t good on offense, weren’t good on defense, weren’t good enough on special teams. After a week of rest, the New England Patriots host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday - Veterans Day - at Gillette Stadium. Kick-off is 1 p.m.

The New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills will meet for the 106th time Sunday and the second time in 2012, with New England holding a 63-41-1 edge following a 52-28 victory against the Bills in Buffalo on September 30. Former King Philip Standout Tatupu Back in NFL With Atlanta Falcons

Former King Philip High standout Lofu Tatupu is back in the NFL after a year away from the game, attempting to win a job with the Atlanta Falcons.

    Afer being released by the Seattle Seahawks last year. it looked like former King Philip High standout Lofu Tatupu was going to be done with his Pro Bowl football career. “At a certain point I just stopped working out,” Tatupu said Tuesday to the greenvilleonline.com. “I thought it was over. I was really ready to send those papers in.” Now, three-time Pro Bowl middle linebacker is at the Atlanta Falcons mini-camp, trying to return to the NFL after missing the entire 2011 season. “I’m excited about the whole process and just being back playing ball again,” Tatupu said. Seattle Cuts Former King Philip Standout Lofu Tatupu

ESPN says he could ended up with Tampa Bay.

After the two sides couldn’t agree on a salary reduction, former King Philip standout Lofu Tatupu was released by the Seattle Seahawks after a seven -year career at linebacker, which include three Pro Bowl appearances. EPSN.com is reporting that Tatupu could end up in Florida with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tatupu was the captain of Seattle’s defense and has 549 tackles with 10 interceptions in his career. He also has eight and half sacks. He started his college career at the University of Maine before switching to USC where he played for current Seattle head coach Pete Carroll.
