King Philip athletic director Steve Schairer asked an MIAA committee if his school could be moved down a division in football.

King Philip High School was one of 11 schools in the south region to go in front of an MIAA board to explain why they should be moved down a division in the new playoff format, according to a report in Tuesday's Boston Globe.
