Obituary: Jeanne Marie Garin
A funeral service will be held for Jeanne Marie Garin Monday.
Jeanne Marie Garin, 86, of Plainville and formerly of Jamaica Plain, and Everett, died Jan. 9, 2013, in Attleboro. She was the dear sister of Sylvia Guarino, with whom she made her home. A longtime Plainville resident, she had graduated with a degree in Social Work from the Boston College where she was a Magna Cum Laude recipient. Prior to retirement several years ago, Ms. Garin had been a Social Worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. A very giving person, she was active with the Parishes of St. Martha in Plainville, and St. Mary in Wrentham. She loved to donate to charities that she felt made the difference, and those included the Christian Children’s Fund, her local Parishes, and to those organizations whose funds benefited …
