Wrentham Senior Awarded 2012 Honey Dew Donuts Scholarship
King Philip's Mia Onorato, a senior from Wrentham, was awarded a Honey Dew Scholarship.
Each year, Honey Dew Donuts awards more than $25,000 in scholarship money to graduating high school seniors from Honey Dew Donuts franchise communities throughout New England. This year, Wrentham High School senior Mia Onorato is one of approximately 100 area students selected to receive a 2012 Honey Dew Donuts Scholarship of $250. To be eligible, Onorato had to demonstrate academic excellence by maintaining a grade point average of B- or better, be accepted into a four-year accredited college or university, and participate in community service activities. “With shops throughout New England, our Scholarship Program has a wide reach within Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire,” says Honey Dew Donuts founder Richard Bowen. “We’re …
