All this columnist ever wanted was a manual.

Tiny. Fragile. Beautiful. Those were my first thoughts. If you’re children are old enough, try a brainstorming session. What should we get dad? What does he enjoy? My kids have thought up some great ideas in years past, although I think my 8-year-old may be doing one of those "this gift would be great for ME and dad" since it involves a trip to Game Stop. Make a "day in the life of dad" video: With iPhones and flip cams, it’s easier than ever to produce your own video.
