Voting for the 2012 General Election will take place at the Delaney School tomorrow from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tomorrow, Wretham and the rest of the country will go to the polls to vote in this year's Presidential election. In addtion to chosing who the Commander in Chief will be, voters will pick a new congressman and decide who will represent Massachusetts in the US Senate. The Ballot: The Wrentham Town Clerk has released a sample ballot for those who would like to see what the ballot will look like before they vote. Where and When to Vote: Voting will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Delaney School located at 120 Taunton Street. The Wrentham Town Clerk has released the specimen ballot for November's election. The ballot displayed is what voters will see when they go to the polls next month. Compared to other towns, Wrentham residents can expect a lite ballot after voting in the Presidential and Congressional races. On the state level, both State Representative Dan Winslow and State Senator Richard Ross are unopposed. The 2012 General Election will take place on November 6 with voting commencing between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Delaney School. Those who are unable to make it to the polls on Election Day can request an absentee ballot or vote in person at Town Hall until November 5 at noon.

A new poll from Public Policy Polling gives Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren a nine point lead over Senator Scott Brown.
In a campaign that has been too close to call, a new poll from Public Policy Polling (PPP) shows Elizabeth Warren with a clear lead in the race to represent Massachusetts in the Senate. The poll, taken between October 15 and 16 on behalf of the League of Conservation Voters, has Warren leading Brown 53 percent to 44 percent. The poll consisted of 705 likely voters from Massachusetts. The margin of error is 3.7% Also taking a hit in the poll was Brown's approval rating that fell to 46 percent. 45 percent of those polled disapproved of the senator's job performance. A new WBUR/MassINC polls shows Senator Scott Brown a 48 percent to 45 percent lead over Elizabeth Warren but a UMass-Amherst polls gives Warren a 48 percent to 46 percent lead.
Two new polls released yesterday show a race that has yet to have a definite leader in the fight to represent Massachusetts in the Senate. While a new poll from WBUR and MassINC of 501 likely voters conducted between October 5-7 shows Senator Scott Brown leading Elizabeth Warren 48 percent to 45 percent, a new UMass-Amherst/YouGov America poll of 500 registered voters taken between October 2-8 gives Warren a 48 percent to 46 percent lead. The margin of error is +/- 4.4 percent in the WBUR poll and +/- 5 percent in the UMass poll. The new WBUR poll shows a seven point swing since the last WBUR/MassINC poll. A new poll from Western New England College gives Elizabeth Warren a 50% - 45% lead over Senator Scott Brown.
A new poll from Western New England University shows Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren with a five point lead over Senator Scott Brown. Taken between September 28 - October 4, the poll of 440 likely voters had 50% of voters choosing Warren to 45% for Brown. 3% was undecided and 2% refused to answer. The margin of error is 4.7% Based on party identification, Brown took 98% of those who identified as Republicans while Warren had the support of 85% of Democrat polled. Continuing to poll well among Independents, Brown took 62% to Warren's 35%. Despite trailing, Brown still enjoys a 55% approval rating with 33% disapproving of the job that Brown is doing. In the 2012 campaign cycle, Wrentham residents have made over 30 contributions to the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, the Democratic and Republican Party nominees. A Patch analysis shows about two-thirds of those donations have gone to President Obama. A total of 24 contributions from Wrentham were made to the Obama campaign, for a total of $4,875. 11 contributions from Wrentham were made to the Romney campaign, for a total of $6,300. The largest contributions by a Wrentham resident to the Obama campaign was $2,500 James Kirby, a commercial construction consultant.
