Report Says Norfolk's Winter Out at WEEI

Norfolk's Kevin Winter is out as the morning sports reporter at WEEI, according to a report on boston.com.

Norfolk's Kevin Winter is out as the sports update anchor on WEEI's Dennis and Callahan, according to a report on Boston.com.Monday.  Winter had been with the show for six weeks after replacing Jon Meterparel, who didn't renew his contract so he could pursue play-by-play work. Meterparel is the voice of the Boston College football and men's basketball teams. Boston.com is reporting the program director Jason Wolfe told Winter Monday the chemistry between himself and the morning host wasn't working. Coyotes a Recent Problem in The Suburbs

Boston.com columnist Alex Beam suggests one way to handle suburban coyotes.

With a recent report of a coyote sighting in the Boston suburbs, one Boston.com columnist has offered a suggestion on how to deal with these sometimes-urban wild animals. Columnist Alex Beam mentions Wellesley in a column, "They shoot coyotes, don't they?" posted today on Boston.com. In the article, Beam makes reference to a Brookline incident Dec. 29 in which a citizen spotted a coyote in her driveway. Beam refers to Wrentham as one of the suburban towns which could possibly deal with a coyote problem.
