KP Boys Basketball Pulls Away from Attleboro
Jake Layman leads Warriors past Bombadiers.
For two and a half quarters Friday night, the Attleboro boys basketball team outperformed King Philip. The Warriors, however, took the lead in the third and did not look back, winning 84-69 at home. The Bombadiers exploded early, jumping out to a 22-18 lead in the first quarter. Attleboro was efficient on offense, behind the lights-out shooting of Tim Walsh and the slashing style of JJ Jolaoso (27 points). The Warriors, though, looked out of sorts against a tenacious Attleboro defense. KP had a tough time making shots, and seemed to have trouble handling the ball.
