Angelcat Haven Rescues 10 Kittens from Roadside Box

Kittens had been left out in sun with no food, water.

The following is a release from Angelcat Haven.

A friend of a volunteer of Angelcat Haven Feline Rescue Organization found a cardboard box on the side of the road in Foxborough on East Street and Mansfield Street on Sunday May 19.

The box said "FREE" on it and contained 10 black & white colored kittens. The 10 kittens were left out in the hot sun, in a closed box with no food or water for an undetermined length of time.

They appear to be of different ages, possibly from different litters. The largest weighs 1.5 pounds. They are all dehydrated, very hungry and underweight but are now in the hands of Angelcat Haven Feline Rescue in Plainville.

They will be fully vetted, nursed to health, and available for adoption once they have a clean bill of health, and reach three pounds in a few weeks. They will be spayed/neutered and receive all vaccinations prior to adoption.

Angelcat Haven is a non-profit rescue with no city or state funding that relies on donations and adoption fees to continue with their rescue work. Donations for the care of these kittens is desperately needed to get them healthy and ready for adoption.
