Cherry Hill, New Jersey
– An abortion clinic counselor who is a former actress filmed her abortion, declaring: "I'm not ready to have children."

Now that video is going viral.

"Hey I'm pregnant," she says in the video.

Emily Letts, 25, said she just wanted to "share my story" in an effort to remove the stigma surrounding abortion.

"I just wanted to show there's such a thing as a positive abortion story," she says.

She filmed it at he Cherry Hill Women's Center on Kings Highway, where she works. She wrote about the video for Cosmopolitan's online site.

Letts told Cosmopolitan that she believes there's a lot of misinformation about abortion: "Women come into the clinic all the time terrified that they are going to be cut open, convinced that they won't be able to have kids after the abortion. The misinformation is amazing, but think about it: They are still willing to sacrifice these things because they know that they can't carry the child at this moment."

The video has garnered a strong, and at times angry reaction. The second comment on Cherry Hill Patch stated: "We always knew that televised executions would eventually carry the day. The only thing is...normally the perpetrator of some crime is executed while in this case an innocent is executed..."

The website thegatewaypundit reacted with the headline "Horror! Far Left Activist FILMS Her Own Abortion!"

Letts also had plenty of defenders. Equality for Women tweeted: "THIS is courage. THIS is leadership. Kudos for Emily Letts for fighting the idea that getting an abortion is shameful."

A Twitter feed of reaction is included with this post.

"I don't feel like a bad person," she said, near the end of the video.

"I knew that what I was going to do was right," she said.

Nobody is asking anyone to compromise their faith, we just need to continue to avoid imposing it on people who don't share it, like in the constitution. Feel free to exclude whoever you like from your church, just keep it out of civil law.

Man you just keep avoiding the real question don't you T man. You are being exposed for clearly not having thought deeply about this issue. Are you saying that only people of "faith" can be against murder? So are our laws against killing each other impositions of "faith"? Don't you think that an atheist can still be against murder. The question, T as in Tuck Head And Run, is simple. When do you believe that life begins? You refuse to answer this. The only thing you do seem sure about is killing of the unborn is just hunky-dory in your book. Keep avoiding the question. I think Brad up there called you out pretty well.
