"I know it's going to rain hard overnight, but I think we're going to try to play it," he said.
The National Weather Service in Taunton is forecasting three-quarters to one inch of rain tonight in Sharon.

Another quarter-inch to half-inch of rain is expected Saturday, mainly before 1pm, the agency said on its website. Thunderstorms are possible.
The weather service has issued a flood watch for this area from 8pm Friday through Saturday evening.
