Norfolk's Lepley Joins 1,000th Point Club at Holy Cross

After missing the first nine games of the season with an injury, Norfolk's Amy Lepley has bounced back for the Holy Cross women's basketball team.

With a preseason injury, Norfolk's Amy Lepley's senior season for women's basketball team at the College of the Holy Cross started slow as she missed nine games.

In the next nine games, though, she had made up for loss time, scoring her 1,000th career point in a Jan. 6, becoming the 28th women's basketball player to reach the mark at the Worcester school. Teammate Alex Smith followed her onto the 1,000th point list, giving the Crusaders two 1,000th point scorers on the same team for the second time.
