MIAA Announces New Wrestling Tournament Times

Divisional State Tournament: All Divisions – Tuesday & Wednesday, Feb. 19 & 20

The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association has announced the scheduled for the state divisional wrestling tournament.

The locations will be D-1 Newton South, D-2 Marshfield and D3 Wakefield Memorial.

Here's the schedule from the MIAA:

Tuesday, Feb. 19 weigh-ins at noon. Due to the change in schedule, all wrestlers will be given an additional pound allowance at weigh-in (i.e. 106 weight class will be 109). Wrestling begins at 2 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 20 weigh-ins at 1 p.m.. Wrestling begins at 2 p.m.. Finals will begin at 6:30 p.m. at D1 and D2. 

On Wednesday, for Division 3, because of the distance that wrestlers and parents living in Berkshire County have to travel to get home, the D3 times will be 11:30 a.m. weigh-in, 12:30 p.m. wrestling, finals at 5 p.m.

All-State Championships:  Feb. 23 and 24 at Salem High School:

Saturday, Feb 23. weigh-ins at 10 a.m.. Because of the change in schedule, all wrestlers will be given an additional a pound allowance at weigh-in (i.e. 106 weight class will be 109). Same as Divisional States. Wrestling begins at noon.

Sunday, Feb. 24 weigh-ins at 10 a.m.. Wrestling begins at 11 a.m.. All-State Finals will begin at 6 p.m.
