Coming off a stellar no-hit win over Shrewsbury a day earlier, the Warriors were hoping for more of the same against Hockomock League foe Sharon.
With Megan Carnase on the mound, King Philip not only took advantage of the pitching performance, but used their bats as well. They shut out the Eagles, 15-0, at Wayne Watters Jr. Memorial Field.
As Carnase was allowing only two hits (singles in the fourth and fifth innings), the King Philip batters were pounding Sharon starter Brittany Whiting with 15 runs on 17 hits, including three home runs.
