KP Softball Defeats Dighton-Rehoboth, Advances in Tournament

Senior Tri-Captain Jenn Robillard bats first in the lineup for a reason.

Tonight, the King Philip shortstop was the table setter, leading off two innings with infield hits that sparked the Warriors.

Robillard's two singles started rallies in the first and third, leading KP to score two and three runs, respectively, to defeat Dighton-Rehoboth 5-0.

The Warriors will be right back in action Tuesday in Taunton against the number 21 seed Weymouth, an 8-4 winner over Sandwich, in the Semi-Finals of the Division 1 South MIAA Softball Tournament.
