Here's a look at the KP season in review.

(W, 42-7): King Philip once again tallied 42 points in their second game of the season. Ruffin scored twice on the ground and once through a punt return, and Dillon would find Joe Cochrane for a passing TD. Medfield would not get on the board until the fourth quarter.

(W, 34-0): The Warriors went on the road for their third game, taking down the (at the time) 2-0 Sharon Eagles. Michael Viola caught two touchdowns, Sam McDonald caught one and Ryan Dunn and Ruffin rushed for scores as well. KP led 21-0 at the half, and the defense held the shutout.

(L, 27-26): King Philip and Mansfield clashed in week four, and the Warriors were dealt their third loss of the season. Mansfield led 27-14 in the fourth quarter when KP began its comeback attempt. Greg Donahue caught a touchdown and Ruffin caught and ran for two touchdowns as the Warriors opened up the playbook and went to the pass. A two-point conversion attempt would fail in the waning seconds, though, leading to the loss.

(W, 19-7): The Warriors rebounded after the tough loss, defeating a tough North Attleboro team on the road. KP pulled ahead on a two-yard rush from Ruffin and would not trail in the game. This game ended up being quite important, as it led to the three-way tie at the top of the Kelley-Rex division (which led to KP's playoff spot).

(W, 28-7): King Philip fell behind early in this one, and was down 7-0 into the second quarter. Dillon completed a pass to Cochrane to tie the game, and a McDonald receiving TD would put the Warriors ahead for good. A win here put KP at 6-1.

(W, 41-7): After recovering an onside kick to start the game, Ruffin took the first play 46 yards for a touchdown. KP went ahead 20-0 in the first half at home. Ruffin would end up scoring six times in all as KP routed Attleboro.

(W, 37-13): The Warriors spotted the Canton Bulldogs a quick seven points in this one, but responded with 37 unanswered points on the way to a win. Ruffin scored four touchdowns, and KP lineback Nate Malone recovered a Canton fumble for a 42-yard score.

(W, 42-21): Needing a win to get into the playoffs, KP went to work on Thanksgiving Day. Ruffin, Dillon, Dunn, Cochrane and Brian Jones all scored touchdowns in the game. The defense did allow some long passes for scores, but stopped the Panthers when it mattered.
