King Philip's Layman Scores Seven in University of Maryland Basketball Win

Former King Philip standout Jake Layman is seeing time off the bench for the University of Maryland men's basketball team.

 

Former King Philip standout Jake Layman has seven points, including a three-pointer in the University of Maryland men's basketball team's 67-45 win over Morehead State Monday night at home.

In the first three games of the season, the freshman guard-forward had appeared in two games, average five points a game, playing 31 minutes. Maryland is 2-1 on the season, only losing to defending champion Kentucky.

Maryland will be playing Long Island University-Brooklyn Friday night at home.
