King Philip's Layman in Hunt for Spot on USA Basketball Team
King Philip's Jake Layman is in contention for one of the spots on the USA Basketball Men's U18 National Team.
Former King Philip standout Jake Layman, who is headed to the University of Maryland in the fall, is battling for one of the 12 spots on the USA Basketball Men's U18 National Team, who will be playing in Brazil later this month.
The team is training at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. until Monday.
