King Philip, Franklin Thanksgiving Day Football Through the Years

With the Hockomock League's Kelley-Rex Division already decided in Mansfield's favor, King Philip and Franklin High football teams won't be playing for the title when they meet Thanksgiving in Wrentham at 10 a.m.

There is still, though, the matter of pride and bragging rights on the line in the 53rd meeting between the two neighbors.

Franklin is going into the game with a 31-20-1 record over the Warriors. KP, though, has won the last two games in the series and their seniors will be looking to finish their career with a sweep of the Panthers.

The Warriors will be looking for their 10th win of the year as they are bringing a 9-1 overall record and a 3-1 league record, only losing to Mansfield.

Franklin is 7-3 overall and 2-2 in the Kelley-Rex Division.
