King Philip Alumn Stacy Wojcik Starts Strong For SNHU Women's Cross Country

The former King Philip runner has settled in as the team's second best runner and sixth fastest runner in program history.

Freshman Stacey Wojcik (Wrentham, Mass.) has gotten off to a strong start to her collegiate cross country career for Southern New Hampshire University, already establishing two of the top 11 5K times in program history.

Wojcik, a graduate of King Phillip Regional HS, has been the No. 2 runner for the Penmen in each of their first three events.  Her time of 19:01 at the Rivier Invitational on September 21 was good for the sixth-fastest time in program history while earning a seventh place finish.  At the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on September 15 Wojcik ran a 19:24, good for the program’s 11th-fastest time.

The SNHU women’s cross country team returns to action Saturday, September 29 when it travels to the Pop Crowell Invitational at Gordon College.
