Bledsoe, Morris Inducted to Patriots Hall of Fame (Photo Gallery)

Fans welcome Drew Bledsoe and Jon Morris to the team hall.

Throngs of fans came to the Hall at Patriot Place Saturday afternoon to view the induction of quarterback Drew Bledsoe and center Jon Morris.

Morris, who began his career in 1964, recalled the humble beginnings of the Patriots with the AFL. He joked that, had one of their games drawn as many fans as the induction ceremony, they would have played a doubleheader.

Bledsoe, the longtime Patriots quarterback, praised the passion of New England sports fans. He thanked his fellow players, and spoke about how sports can be a unifying force in troubling times.

Numerous members of the Patriots family, including Tedy Bruschi, Gino Cappelletti, Steve Grogan, Troy Brown, Todd Rucci, Scott Zolak and Steve Nelson, were present for the event.
