The organization receives grant applications from local teachers twice a year: once in December and once in May. Last December, it dispensed over $10,000 in grants to teachers, including money for take-home math bags and instruction about vernal pools.

In the past, the group has provided money for a gym climbing wall and a weather station on top of the Roderick School. The station helps children learn about science through studying weather patterns.
