Medfield Picks Wrentham's Marsden to be Superintendent of Schools

The Medfield School Committee selected Jeff Marsden, the Wrentham superintendent of schools, as their new superintendent Thursday.

Wrentham Superintendent of Schools Jeff Marsden was the unanimous pick as the new Medfield school chief.

The Medfield School Committee announced his selection Thursday night to take over the schools in that town.

Marsden has previously worked in Douglas and Taunton school districts and has a Ph.D. from Boston College.

In his latest evaluation, the Wrentham School Committee gave Marsden an A-plus rating.
