KP School Committee Addresses Wrentham Representative Appointment

Committee hears status report on Wrentham representative.

The King Philip School Committee talked, at its meeting Monday night, about the efforts to appoint a Wrentham member.

The town did not choose a representative at its elections earlier this month, as no one filed to run for the position. The top write-in candidate declined the position as well.

District Superintendent Elizabeth Zielinski said the town had not yet set dates for the process to move forward.

"I've been in touch with [Town Administrator] Bill Ketcham," she said. "They're looking for a job description for a school committee member."

Zielinski said the district would send out a notice when things were more set.
