King Philip Television students attended the 10th Annual Lights! Camera! Action! TV Production Conference at Millis High School April 3. They participated in a "Western" film festival in which all schools were prompted to make a two-minute Western film. There is long version available on the KPTV YouTube Channel.
During the conference students attended various workshops which included presentations from WCVB Boston's Chief Meteorologist Harvey Leonard, NECN reporter Deeana Morgan, the cast and crew of the award winning Indie Film "Cowboy Spirit," among many others.
Also at the conference The National Student Television Academy announced the winners of this year's contest. KPTV earned a whopping nine Emmy's and three Honorable Mentions - more awards than any other school.
