King Philip HS 2013 Scholar Athlete Awards Announced
Brianna Abbott and Matt Nicholson awarded Hockomock League Scholar-Athletic honors.
The King Philip High School has chosen two students for the 2013 Scholar Athlete Awards.
Brianna Abbott and Matt Nicholson were chosen for the honor, and the Hockomock League Induction Ceremony at Lake Pearl Luciano’s in Wrentham, May 9.
Abbott is ranked in the top five females academically in the senior class and is a top three ranked athlete. She was named captain of the spring track team and participated in winter track and basketball as well.

She is the treasurer of the senior class, a member of the student council and a board member of the LEO Club.
Nicholson was ranked in the top 10 males of the senior class and is a top five athlete. He participated in soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis and cross-country. He is also a member of the Science and History National Honor Societies.
