Wompatuck State Park

The twelve miles of paved bike trails and many more miles of wooded hiking trails of Wompatuck State Park lead alongside streams and past dozens of ponds that make fantastic habitat for a wide variety of birds.  The site is a migrant warbler trap in spring and fall - including specialty species like worm-eating Canada and hooded warblers - a breeding site for wood ducks, and a wonderful habitat for owls, woodpeckers and hawks.
