Two Wrentham Establishments Go Unpunished for First Time Liquor Violation

Mr. Dooley's Olde Irish Pub and Terrace Cafe were let off the hook by Wrentham Board of Selectmen Tuesday for selling alcohol to minors during a June 28 police sting.

According to Sun Chronicle, the bartender who sold to the minor at Dooley's was suspended for two weeks without pay and issued a written warning. The entire staff is also to be retrained in serving alcohol. Terrace Cafe owner Nancy Lockwood said new employees would no longer be left unsupervised.

This was the first violation for each establishment. Selectman Stephen Langley warned that for a second violation, the board will "have to take additional action."
