Town of Wrentham Looking to Fill Committees

Selectmen looking to fill multiple town committees.

The Wrentham town government is looking for local volunteers to help steer the town into the future.

The Board of Selectmen renewed multiple committee reappointments at its meeting Tuesday night, but noted several vacancies.

Board Chairman Joseph Botaish said that the town's permanent building committee — intended to be a seven-member group — had only one member.

"I say we need to reorganize the committee from scratch," he said.

The board agreed, declining to reappoint the one member of that committee until further examination is conducted. The selectmen did reappoint members of the Personnel Board, Environmental Protection Advisory Committee and others.
