Senator Ross Announces 'Free Fun Fridays' Events

"Free Fun Fridays," sponsored to the Highland Street Foundation, is starting Friday.

Senator Richard J. Ross (R-Wrentham) announces  the Highland Street Foundation will be offering its fifth annual “Free Fun Fridays” this summer.

Beginning on June 28, each Friday will feature six exciting cultural attractions in Massachusetts open to the public for free. The program runs through Aug. 30. 

“Massachusetts is celebrated for its rich cultural and historical heritage,” said Senator Ross. “The Highland Street Foundation provides an exciting opportunity to broaden our horizons and take advantage of everything the Commonwealth has to offer.”

Featured attractions are located across the Commonwealth and include a wide variety of interest areas. Some highlights of “Free Fun Fridays” include the Museum of Fine Arts, JFK Library and Museum, The Sports Museum and Franklin Park Zoo. The program will include 60 museums and cultural venues throughout the summer.
