Ross Named State Senate Minority Whip

Senator Richard Ross was named to nine Legislative Committees and Minority Whip.

Senator Richard J. Ross (R-Wrentham) has been reappointed to Senate Minority Whip by Senate Minority Leader Bruce E. Tarr for the 2013-2014 Legislative Session. Senator Ross had previously served as Minority Whip for the 2011-2012 Legislative Session, and Assistant Minority Whip prior to that.

 “I am so proud to serve the Massachusetts Senate again as Minority Whip,” said Senator Ross. “I am eager to continue to represent the Norfolk, Bristol and Middlesex District, while collaborating with my colleagues to improve the Commonwealth as a whole.”

Senator Ross has also been appointed to nine Legislative Committees for the upcoming session, including: Senate Committee on Ethics and Rules, Senate Committee on Ways and Means, Joint Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies, Joint Committee on Education, Joint Committee on Higher Education, Joint Committee on Judiciary, Joint Committee on Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Joint Committee on Municipalities and Regional Government and Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security.
