Report Says Plainridge President Found to be Taking Cash from Money Room

According to the Boston Globe,  Gary Piontkowski, former President of the Plainridge Racecourse, made personal cash withdrawals form the track's money room almost on a daily basis for years.
Piontkowski, a founder of the racetrack, was found to be reportedly taking money from the money room after an investigation from the state gambling commission.  The commission reportedly met with co owners of the racetrack and other officers and found the discrepancy.
Piontkowski retired from the course in April due to what Plainridge described as health concerns, but the report from the MGC stated fellow owners felt it was not in the company's best interest to have Piontkowski remain as president.
Piontkowski was replaced by John Grogan, a graduate of Harvard Business School.
