Plainville Senior Center, 9 School Street
Registered Democrats in Plainville will hold a caucus at the Plainville Senior Center, 9 School Street in Plainville, on Saturday, February 11th at 10:00 a.m. to elect three delegates and three alternates to the 2011 Massachusetts Democratic Convention. Delegates will nominate U.S. Senate candidates for the 2012 Democratic Primary. The convention will take place on Saturday June 2nd, 2012, at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield; the Massachusetts Democratic Primary will be held on September 6th, 2012.

The caucus is open to all Democrats registered in Plainville, and the Democratic Town Committee warmly welcomes participants. Any Plainville Democrat (registered by December 31st, 2011) may run as a delegate to the Convention and may vote for delegates. Elected delegates will be divided equally between men and women, and all ballots will be written and secret. In the spirit of inclusion, youth, minorities, and people with disabilities who are not elected as delegates or alternates are encouraged to apply to be "add-on" delegates.
A meeting of the Plainville Democratic Town Committee will immediately follow the caucus. All are welcome.
