Ayla Brown To Sing National Anthem at Republican Convention

Wrentham's Ayla Brown will be performing at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Tuesday, Aug. 28, and singing the national anthem Wednesday, Aug. 29. She is the daugher of Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown (R-Wrentham), who will also be at the convention.

Brown debuted her country album, "Country for Good" in January and was the national anthem singer for the Philadephia 76ers last winter.

She is graduate of Nobles & Greenough and Boston College where she was a basketball player for both schools. Brown was also on American Idol in 2005.
