Wrentham Police Log: July 29 - August 17

The Wrentham police have released their police log for the first half of August. Included in the log are two cases of assault and battery, a drug charge, a warrant arrest, and three OUIs.

Assult and Battery

On Saturday, July 29, 2012 at approximately 11:00 pm, Wrentham police arrested a 39 year old Wrentham man. Eric Ayre of 2395 West St., was charged with domestic A&B. The arrest was the result of a call to police about a past assault and battery. Wrentham Police were assisted by Plainville police with making the arrest.

On Wednesday, August 1, 2012, at approximately 3:30 am, Wrentham police arrested a 28 year old Wrentham man.  Mark Wilmont of 199 Beach St. was charged with domestic A&B.  The arrest was the result of a call from North Attleboro police with assistance for an assault and battery that occurred in North Attleboro.

Drug Charge

On Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at approximately 6:30 am, Wrentham police arrested a 22 year old  North Attleboro man.  Dylan Morlock, of 280 Kelley Blvd. was charged with operating a motor vehicle after his license had been suspended and possession of a class B substance.  The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Green St.

Warrant Arrest

On Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at approximately 1:00 pm, Wrentham police arrested a 32 year old Attleboro man. James Nestor of 28 John St. Attleboro was arrested on numerous outstanding warrants.

OUI Arrests

On Thursday, August 9, 2012, at approximately 12:15 am, Wrentham police arrested a 17 year old Plainville man. Brian Jones of48 George St. was charged with OUI alcohol and operating to endanger.  The arrest was the result of police responding to a single motor vehicle crash on Taunton St.

On Friday, August 10, 2012, at approximately 11:30 pm, Wrentham police arrested an 18 year old Wrentham man.  Matthew King of 25 Anawon Drive was charged with OUI alcohol, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash with property damage and operating to endanger.  The arrest was the result of police responding to a single motor vehicle crash on West St.

On Friday August 17, 2012, at approximately 11:00 pm, Wrentham police arrested a 46 year old North Attleboro woman.  Lynda Morton of 276 Arnold Rd was charged with OUI alcohol, a third offense, operating to endanger and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash property damage.  The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on South St. at Village way.

Break Ins Around Wrentham

Over the weekend, Wrentham police, released some tips concerning break ins on their blog concerning an increase of house breaks on the west side of Wrentham. Wrentham police advice, keeping valuables in places where they are not typically kept, locking your door and windows, and taking note of the vehicle and license plate of anyone looking for directions or soliciting.
