Wrentham Police Log: Drug Charges, Shoplifting and Larceny

The following is from the Wrentham Police Department from Feb. 1 2013, to Feb. 6, 2013. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Feb. 1

10:00 a.m. Wrentham Police arrested a 26-year-old Wrentham woman.  Meaghan Galvin, of 85 Sumner Perry Drive was charged with possession of a class A substance Heroin.  The arrest was the result of a call to police from Wrentham District Court someone trying to bring illegal drugs into court through security.

5:30 p.m. Wrentham Police arrested a 61-year-old Roxbury man.  Gregory Brown, of 18 Wheatley Street 3C was charged with shoplifting, trespass, and two counts of larceny over $250.  The arrest was the result of a call to police of a shoplifting at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets.

11:35 a.m. Wrentham police arrested a 25-year-old Norfolk man, and a 29-year-old Woonsocket Rhode Island man. Timothy Cullen, of 25 Marshall Street Norfolk was charged with possession of a class A substance, Heroin and Conspiracy to violate the controlled substance law. Carlos Pena, of 73 Carolina Ave, Woonsocket was charged with Possession of a class A substance, Possession of a class A substance with the intent to distribute, Conspiracy to violate the controlled substance law and resisting arrest. The arrest was the result of officer’s making a traffic stop on Summer Street by Autumn Road

12:35 p.m. Wrentham police arrested a 31-year-old Plainville man.  Brian Hamlin, of 7R Amvet Drive was charged with shoplifting.  The arrest was the result of a call to police of a shoplifting at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets.
