State Police: Crash on 495 in Wrentham

Accident on Route 495 South, one taken to hospital.

A crash on Route 495 South on Thursday morning sent one to the hospital, according to the Massachusetts State Police.

According to police, the Wrentham and Plainville fire departments responded to calls about a motor vehicle rollover at 11:07am. The accident took place a quarter-mile before the Wrentham exit on the highway.

State police said two vehicles were involved in the incident - a 2005 Dodge Magnum operated by a 56-year-old Provincetown man and a 2002 Mazda being driven by an 18-year-old Pawtucket, RI woman.

Police said the woman was taken to Sturdy Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
