2:28 a.m. Emma Gavrilles, 19 of Wrentham was arrested and charged with: Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol; Marked Lanes Violation; and Speeding. The charges stem from a motor vehicle stop on South Street, where Gavrilles was stopped by Sgt. Kyle Rockett for speeding, 55 MPH in a posted 30 MPH zone. Further investigation by the police determined that she was operating under the influence of alcohol. Sgt Scott Gallerani assisted in the investigation and booking process.
12:43 p.m. Joshua Brown, 28 of North Attleborough, and Patricia Marino, 22 of Wrentham were arrested and charged with: Possession of a Class A Substance (Heroin). The charges stem from an investigation at 162 South St. Detective James Floyd was investigating the theft of several items from the Plainville Public Library, and located Brown and Marino behind the residence in possession of heroin and related drug paraphernalia. Ptl. Matthew Webber assisted in the arrest and booking process.
1:24 p.m. Michael Brown, 24 of Plainville was arrested on a Plainville warrant charging him with: Possession of a Class A Substance (Heroin). Ptl. James Rockett arrested Brown at 162 South St. and was assisted by Ptl. William McEvoy.
6:34 p.m. Joseph Moreau, 23 of Woonsocket RI was arrested at 13 Taunton St. on two warrants. The warrants were for various motor vehicle violations out of the Milford and Uxbridge District Courts. Moreau was a passenger in a vehicle that had been stopped by Ptl. Todd Holbrook, and through investigation it was determined that none of the three occupants had active licenses. Polcie said Moreau initially gave the police a false name, but later gave up his real name. Sgt. Scott Gallerani assisted in the investigation and subsequent arrest and booking.
5:45 p.m. Joshua Bennett, 23 of Medway was arrested and charged with: Assault & Battery; and Larceny over $250. The charges stem from a call for a domestic disturbance at 51 Terry Lane. The female victim reported that Bennett had assaulted her and had taken her cell phone. Bennett had fled the scene, but was soon stopped in Wrentham and placed under arrest by Ptl. Michael Street. Ptl. Julie Barrett conducted the initial investigation and assisted with the booking process.
10:51 p.m. Cameron Tyler Dunnebier, 27, of Plainville was arrested and charged with: assault and battery; witness intimidation; and reckless Endangerment of a Child. The charges stem from a call for a domestic disturbance. The female victim reported that Dunnebier assaulted her by pushing her while she held her three-week old son. The female stated that she fell, and her infant son struck his head on a doorway. Dunnebier also allegedly prevented the female victim from calling the police by taking her cell phone from her. Ptl. Todd Holbrook conducted the investigation, with Ptl. William Lamb and Ptl. Gregory Kiff assisting. The infant was transported to the hospital along with his mother for an evaluation.
5:49 p.m. Kimberly Sing, 32 of Norfolk, and Farrah Sing-Peters, 34 of Norfolk were arrested and charged with: Larceny over $250, two counts; and Conspiracy. The charges stem from an incident at Target on Taunton Street where Loss Prevention observed the females attempt to leave the store with a full shopping cart with no intent of paying for the items. The two were detained by Loss Prevention, then placed under arrest by Plainville Police officers Ptl. Todd Holbrook and Ptl Michael Street. The amount of goods in the cart totaled $593.54. The two females had been observed allegedly doing the same type of theft in Abington and Braintree in December 2012.
