Plainville and North Attleboro Dunkins Held Up Within Minutes of Each Other

Plainville and North Attleboro Police are currently searching for a suspect they say robbed a Dunkin Donuts in each town within minutes of each other.

Plainville Police reported the first robbery at about 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday night on Washington Street.

North Attleboro reported their holdup about 15 minutes later on Elm Street.

The suspect was described as wearing a black mask, wielding a black handgun, possibly brown-skinned, brown eyes and wore jeans and a grey hoodie.

Plainville Police reported the suspect jumped on the counter and pointed his handgun at employees demanding money. Police said employees stated he was apologizing the throughout the robbery and exited the building towards the George Street area.

Plainville Police continue to investigate, and are speaking with area departments for possible connected robberies and/or suspects.

Police also reported he knew how to operate the doughnut chain’s cash registers.
