More 24,000 Vehicles Go Over Speed Limit on Plainville Street.

The Plainville Police Department used radar deployments at 91 West Bacon St. and on 18 High St.

 

A radar sign deployment at 91 West Bacon St. found 24,234 vehicles with average speed of 32 miles per hour in a 25 milies per hour, including the Plainville Police Department's Facebook page.

Speed was checked from Jan. 4-15 and the busiest time was Thursday, Jan. 10, from 4-5 p.m.

Another check took place at 18 High St. (southbound). The Plainville Police record 8,738 vehicles with an average speed of 34 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour zone.

The busiest day was Wednesday with the busiest hour from 4-5 p.m.
