Obituary: Rev. Henry P. Boivin , Served Parish of St. Mary in Wrentham

Rev. Henry P. Boivin, 84, of Boston, died Oct. 4, 2013.

Fr. Boivin was ordained at Holy Name Church in West Roxbury in 1957. He served at the Parish of St. Mary in Wrentham, St. Christine’s Parish in Marshfield, St. Monica Church in South Boston, St. Theresa of Avila Parish in West Roxbury, St. Paul Parish in Hingham and as Pastor of St. Mary Parish in Franklin and Holy Ghost Parish in Whitman. Before retiring to the Regina Cleri Residence in Boston, he served part time at Immaculate Conception Parish in Weymouth.

He leaves his siblings Annette Webber of Norwood, Louise Daley of Satellite Beach, Fla.; and his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Jeanne Boivin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 720 Broad St., East Weymouth, where the Funeral Mass will also be celebrated Thursday at 11 a.m. Burial in Mount Benedict Cemetery, West Roxbury.
